Production Supervisor (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Toledo, Ohio, United States; first or second shift, overtime, and weekends may be required.

What you will do

• Supervise small production teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment.
• Ensure production plans, safety procedures, quality standards, and operational targets are achieved.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop team members while managing attendance and manpower allocation.
• Analyze production performance and lead improvement activities focused on safety, quality, cost, throughput, and waste reduction.
• Monitor quality, address production issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Present production metrics and operational updates using Microsoft Office applications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coach, mentor, and develop team members.
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work onsite on first or second shift, including overtime and weekends as required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing systems.
