Senior Specialist, Product Management (Automotive)

Location: Novi, Michigan, United States; four days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings and events. Travel is approximately 10%, and a valid driver's license is required.

Base salary: $120,000–$145,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead vehicle milestone decision papers covering product maturity, technical readiness, timing, and cross-functional inputs.
• Translate milestone requirements into work packages, ownership, timelines, escalation paths, and recovery actions.
• Track manufacturing-readiness inputs such as specifications, sourcing, tooling releases, part delivery, and production readiness.
• Coordinate Engineering, E/E and Software, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Design, and Product Marketing workstreams.
• Maintain program trackers and facilitate alignment meetings to resolve blockers and support timely decisions.
• Prepare recommendations, dashboards, and leadership-ready materials for steering committees and executive forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in automotive product development, product management, program management, engineering project coordination, or cross-functional project leadership.
• Experience supporting vehicle program launches from development through start of production.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle development processes, milestone governance, launch-readiness KPIs, schedule management, and critical path analysis.
• Experience working across Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Product Marketing, and Design.
• Strong communication, analytical, stakeholder-management, and issue-resolution skills.
