What you will do

• Serve as the primary execution lead for an Underbody & Tech or Upper Body & Functions vehicle zone.
• Partner with the Chief Engineer to translate technical strategy and program goals into actionable execution plans.
• Coordinate engineering, supply chain, suppliers, and manufacturing against technical, financial, and timing milestones.
• Own the zone Bill of Materials, identify cost risks, and lead cost-reduction initiatives.
• Drive virtual releases, design maturity milestones, manufacturing readiness, and end-to-end validation asset planning.
• Translate business objectives into product goals, use benchmarking insights, and improve processes that accelerate execution.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in automotive program management or engineering leadership supporting large-scale vehicle programs through launch.
• Experience independently driving large cross-functional teams while supporting a single point owner such as an Assistant Chief Engineer.
• Strong understanding of automotive cost structures, including piece price, tooling, and inbound logistics.
• Technical breadth to guide decisions across multiple domains and resolve complex trade-offs.
• High proficiency in the relevant Underbody/Tech or Upper Body/Functions systems.
• Familiarity with vehicle autonomous systems and/or hardware.
