Senior People Business Partner (Gaming)

Location: On-site, 5 days a week at the Downtown Vancouver studio, Vancouver, Canada

Salary: CAD 100,000–125,000 per year; the listed range applies to candidates located in Vancouver.

What you will do

• Partner with senior leaders to connect people strategy, organizational design, workforce planning, headcount, and financial planning.
• Lead organizational transformation, change management, performance management, talent assessment, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Advise on complex Canadian and US employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and support legally compliant terminations.
• Lead company-wide people programs such as salary reviews, strategic workforce planning, and organizational change projects.
• Coach managers, senior leaders, and People Team members while strengthening leadership capabilities and team practices.
• Collaborate with People and Talent Acquisition partners to improve programs and organizational culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial relations, commerce, psychology, or a related human resources professional development program.
• 8+ years of HR experience in a project-based, creative culture and 3+ years of People Business Partnership experience.
• Experience with cultural and business transformation, change management, multi-site organizations, and organizational initiatives.
• Strong experience partnering with executive leaders on people strategy and operational goals.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law; knowledge of US employment law is an asset.
• Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to work across all organizational levels.

Nice to have

• PHR, SPHR, CPHR, or another industry credential.
• Certified Coach qualification.
• Further education in conflict management, coaching, or change management.
