NPI Procurement Project Manager (Semiconductor)

Salary: $106,800–$160,000 per year, plus bonus and equity eligibility

What you will do

• Coordinate materials procurement with supply chain managers, suppliers, contract manufacturers, engineering, NPI, and volume manufacturing teams.
• Manage Bills of Materials across product development, production release, and product life cycle stages.
• Prepare forecasts, control inventory, and prevent material shortages or excess stock.
• Oversee purchase orders, commodity purchases, multi-source solutions, and timely acquisition of materials.
• Monitor supplier lead times, order accuracy, material quality, and overall vendor performance.
• Maintain procurement documentation and support compliance with environmental, safety, and manufacturing regulations.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in materials planning, supply chain logistics, procurement, or a related field.
• Experience with optical transceivers, photonics, lasers, optical electronics, PCBAs, or other electronics components.
• Expertise in BOM management, product life cycles, procurement processes, logistics, manufacturing operations, and supply chain management.
• Experience working with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional engineering and NPI teams.
• Advanced proficiency with materials planning software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or IFS; strong Excel skills.
• Strong documentation, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP, PMP, or another relevant certification.
