New Product Development Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon, United States; international travel up to 30% required

Salary: $104,300–$193,700 annually, plus eligibility for a bonus

What you will do

• Lead global cross-functional Operations teams for Test & Measurement instrument new product development programs.
• Represent Manufacturing and Operations on new product development core teams and communicate program strategies to Operations management.
• Coordinate manufacturing, testing, and materials plans, including the identification and mitigation of manufacturing and supply chain risks.
• Partner with engineering and materials teams to develop and track product cost estimates.
• Coordinate tooling and test equipment capacity for manufacturing ramp and steady-state production.
• Establish scalable processes, tools, and best practices to improve the speed, quality, and predictability of product launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product development, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain.
• 3+ years leading complex cross-functional programs or managing complex product programs and projects.
• Demonstrated success launching technically complex products into production.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience leading global programs across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Experience managing outsourced manufacturing partners.
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders and driving strategic decisions.
• MBA, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent credentials.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
