What you will do

• Teach undergraduate courses across the Criminal Justice curriculum in classroom, hybrid, and online formats.
• Teach core subjects including introductory criminal justice, corrections, courts, law enforcement, criminology, and research methods.
• Develop an active research agenda leading to published scholarly works or peer-reviewed products.
• Provide student mentoring and contribute to teaching excellence.
• Support service activities and collaborate in a multidisciplinary department and team environment.
• Potentially contribute to the Forensic Investigations interdisciplinary minor.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related discipline from an accredited university; advanced ABD candidates may be considered, with the degree required by the appointment date.
• Evidence of an active research agenda with potential for scholarly publication or peer-reviewed products.
• Ability to teach classroom, hybrid, and online courses.
• Ability to teach core Criminal Justice courses, including courts, corrections, law enforcement, criminology, and research methods.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentoring.
