Senior Project Manager (Electrical Construction)

Location: Portland, Oregon, United States; Workplace: On-site

Salary: $135,000–$180,000 annually, plus a discretionary year-end bonus

What you will do

• Lead project teams and supervise Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers across up to 10 active projects.
• Manage electrical construction projects valued at up to $30 million, with accountability for cost, schedule, performance, and project closure.
• Direct project planning, execution, job-cost tracking, monthly status reporting, and percent-of-completion reporting.
• Coordinate with foremen, owners, contractors, vendors, and internal operations to maintain schedule and budget.
• Build customer relationships, cultivate future construction opportunities, and support cross-selling of integrated company solutions.
• Maintain quality assurance and an injury-free work environment through safe work practices and safety culture.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience selling, estimating, and managing multi-million-dollar industrial construction or advanced technology projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering plus 10 years of construction project experience, or the stated equivalent combination of foreman and project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, construction methods, electrical subcontracting, QA/QC procedures, and system turnover.
• Experience managing projects with 100,000 or more labor hours and large electrical construction projects.
• Experience with heavy power distribution, instrumentation installation, process control, and system integration.
• Competence in labor, material, contract, earned-value, labor-efficiency, crew-composite, takeoff, and electrical estimating processes.
