Maintenance Electrician I Apprentice - 3rd Shift

Location: Eagle, Wisconsin, USA; onsite, 3rd shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Pay: $25 per hour plus an 11% shift premium.

What you will do

• Perform emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance on production and building equipment.
• Diagnose and repair robotic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and controls-related issues.
• Assist with complex equipment breakdowns and implement improvements to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Assist in designing, fabricating, and welding mechanical structures, guards, and special equipment.
• Support project managers and engineers, including rigging, lifting, and relocating heavy machines and components.
• Follow safety procedures, operate service equipment, attend maintenance training, and communicate technical issues effectively.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience maintaining industrial equipment.
• Knowledge or exposure to robotics, controls, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems.
• Willingness to attend certified apprenticeship classes in the relevant skilled trade.
• Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to problem identification and corrective actions.
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and machine specifications.
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance codes and regulations, including OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO, and NEC.

Nice to have

• Experience with equipment and automation used in metal fabrication, paint, and assembly operations.
• Intermediate mechanical aptitude and PC knowledge.
• Ability to acquire and maintain service-equipment operation certifications.
