Industrial Maintenance Technician (Electrical/Hydraulic/Pneumatic)

Location: Chardon, Ohio, United States; onsite at the Chardon manufacturing facility. Third shift: 8:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m., Monday–Thursday.

Salary: $28–$38 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. A 10% third-shift differential and a $1,000 hiring bonus are available.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in the manufacturing facility.
• Install and configure AC and DC drives.
• Troubleshoot 480V three-phase motor circuit controls and perform basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to established program requirements.
• Read diagrams, schematics, instructions, and technical manuals; document supplies and verify completed repairs.
• Support production-area work and other maintenance duties as business needs require.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V.
• Mathematical and mechanical reasoning, critical thinking, and the ability to develop troubleshooting methods for complex problems.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist, lift, and lower loads up to 50 lb.
• Successful completion of a written and hands-on skills test.
