Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician

Location: Cudahy, Wisconsin, USA; onsite, 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Salary: $26–$41 per hour; additional pay may be available based on experience. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and test electrical lines, circuits, controls, fixtures, and equipment.
• Install and service electrical and electronic systems in machinery, conveyors, programmable controllers, bindery equipment, and other production equipment.
• Connect power supply wiring, cables, and machine-to-machine connections using hand tools and electrical test equipment.
• Replace AC/DC motors and diagnose faulty electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Interpret electrical codes, manuals, schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform all work safely in accordance with OSHA and lockout/tagout standards.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of industrial electrical construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with sophisticated circuitry, controls, interlocks, warning systems, and electrical test equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical testing equipment.
• Applicable licenses or certifications required to perform the work.
• Ability to work onsite in Cudahy, Wisconsin, on the 1st shift.
