Lead Business Systems Analyst (SAP)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The team is implementing a remote work schedule, with headquarters perks available in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Annual salary: $110,000–$150,000 USD, plus potential incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Act as a subject-matter expert for SAP Finance modules and related business processes.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into conceptual designs, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
• Configure, implement, enhance, and support SAP FICO functionality across global, multi-site operations.
• Lead requirements definition, testing strategy, test planning, implementation, training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
• Develop Finance roadmaps, project plans, business cases, and risk mitigation recommendations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IS colleagues, development teams, project managers, and senior management.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field, plus 8+ years of experience configuring SAP Finance modules and related business processes, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with SAP FICO submodules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, FSCM, Credit, and Revenue Recognition.
• Experience with SAP ERP ECC 6.0 or later, SAP configuration, business process re-engineering, and SAP integration with SD, MM, and PP.
• Understanding of ABAP development processes, functional specifications, SAP blueprinting, and SAP ASAP methodology.
• Strong analytical, communication, influence management, project leadership, and complex problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Central Finance implementation.
• Experience implementing SAP in global, multi-site organizations.
• Experience with non-US payment methods and banking integrations, including BACS, BECS, and SEPA.
