Supervisor, Inventory (Manufacturing)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States; primarily based in a production or warehouse setting with some office work. Frequent walking and standing, occasional travel, and lifting up to 25 lbs. are required.

What you will do

• Supervise inventory control staff and oversee daily inventory operations.
• Implement inventory management strategies supporting safety, productivity, quality, customer service, cost, and profitability objectives.
• Manage work-in-process, finished-goods, aged, and raw-material inventories to maintain financial reconciliation and inventory integrity.
• Direct job packet reviews, cycle counts, audits, damaged-material management, and waste tracking and disposal.
• Lead staffing, training, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and review required business reports and manage supplier-related transactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required.
• Knowledge of inventory control, supply chain operations, and the movement of materials through manufacturing processes.
• Ability to manage raw-material, work-in-process, and finished-goods inventories.
• Knowledge of manufacturing plant or facility operations and supplier relationship management.
