Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional

Location: Boise, Idaho, United States. Workplace: On-site

Salary: $85,000–$105,000 annually, plus a discretionary year-end bonus.

hirify.global employs EHS professionals to support safety, health, environmental compliance, and project-site safety programs.

What you will do

• Plan, implement, coordinate, and maintain safety programs, policies, procedures, manuals, and compliance processes.
• Conduct employee training, maintain site-specific training matrices, and mentor employees and leaders on technical safety practices.
• Investigate near hits and injuries, coordinate follow-up care and case management, and complete incident reporting.
• Lead hazard and risk assessments, ergonomic initiatives, safety audits, inspections, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Develop project Environmental Health and Safety Plans, perform site walks, and identify hazards and environmental impacts requiring mitigation.
• Communicate safety goals and metrics and collaborate with facility staff, project teams, general contractors, clients, owners, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field; alternatively, an associate degree with at least two years of related professional safety experience and/or training.
• Successful completion of an accredited EHS Apprentice program may be considered.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain and maintain, a valid Oregon driver license.
• OSHA 30 in construction or equivalent certification is required.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification is preferred.
• BCSP or IHMM credentials are recognized qualifications.
