Senior Software Engineer (React/C#)

Location: Remote, candidates must reside in Canada

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features across the Magnet One SaaS platform.
• Build React-based user interfaces and C#/.NET backend services and APIs.
• Develop case management capabilities, shared navigation, consistent workflows, and unified design patterns.
• Design and operate cloud-native services, including deployment, monitoring, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Write tested, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews, technical design, and architectural planning.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and engineers while mentoring team members and providing technical leadership.

Requirements

• Must reside in Canada and be able to work remotely.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience with React, TypeScript, C#, and .NET.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated tests across multiple application layers.
• Experience with AI technologies in software development, including natural language search, agentic workflows, or AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, Kubernetes, containers, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience operating cloud-native SaaS applications at scale.
• Experience with distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with AWS.
• Exposure to digital forensics, cybersecurity, legal technology, or enterprise software.
