Senior Fullstack Engineer (React, Node)

Location: Remote in Poland; flexible working hours with occasional evening meetings required, on average two days per week, to collaborate across Poland and the US.

Salary: 26,000–32,000 PLN + VAT per month on B2B

What you will do

• Design and build end-to-end user-facing features across React frontends, Node.js services, BFF layers, data stores, and third-party APIs.
• Define technical direction, break down ambiguous problems, and make architecture decisions for shippable increments.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and engineers to shape requirements and product scope.
• Build and support reliable databases and APIs for real-time automated decision-making.
• Deploy and monitor software using AWS, Kubernetes or Fargate, Docker, Grafana, Prometheus, and Coralogix.
• Investigate production issues, improve security, implement automated tests across the test pyramid, and mentor engineers through reviews and pairing.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial experience building web applications across frontend and backend.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and shipping production services, including API design, microservices, and system design.
• Practical knowledge of at least one relational database, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, plus effective security practices.
• Good written and spoken English; availability for occasional evening meetings.

Nice to have

• Experience with data analysis and BigQuery.
• Production experience with real AI use cases.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading a small team.
