Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in the Sydney or Melbourne office, Australia

Salary: AUD $160,000–$200,000 including superannuation, depending on experience

hirify.global builds software and AI agents for construction, engineering, manufacturing, and energy companies, including the Dashpivot, Gearbelt, hirify.global App, and Flowsite platforms, with Storm as its AI agent layer.

What you will do

• Lead technical decisions, architecture, and long-term technical direction across the platform.
• Build and ship product features across frontend, backend, and mobile systems.
• Shape AI-powered developer tools and establish agentic engineering patterns, guardrails, and quality standards.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and ongoing guidance.
• Improve developer experience through tooling, CI/CD, monitoring, performance, and code quality initiatives.
• Collaborate directly with product, design, customers, and leadership to determine what to build and why.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and shipping production software at scale.
• Ability to lead architecture decisions and technical direction.
• Experience mentoring and uplifting other engineers.
• Strong product mindset focused on customer outcomes.
• Strong enthusiasm for agentic engineering and AI-first workflows.
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, React or Angular, and Node.js.

Nice to have

• Deep expertise in MongoDB, AWS, or React Native.
• Mobile development experience.
• Experience in a scale-up or high-growth product environment.
