HVAC Service Dispatcher

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States. Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday; Friday work location is flexible based on operational requirements.

Hourly base pay range: $47,310.00–$76,800.00.

What you will do

• Coordinate service resources and dispatch technicians to projects.
• Schedule personnel, materials, subcontractors, and equipment according to project needs, skills, and availability.
• Assign and dispatch controls and HVAC technicians in coordination with project managers and field technician supervision.
• Coordinate with parts and acquisition departments to support service operations.
• Investigate customer concerns, route them to the appropriate staff, and respond to special requests.
• Generate work orders, review project paperwork, forward documents to project administrators, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• College or technical-school certificate or degree with one year of related experience and/or training, or three years of related experience and/or training with a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong customer-service skills and comfort communicating effectively by phone.
• Organization, multitasking, prioritization, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with energy management systems, HVAC systems, and/or temperature controls.
• Practical experience and relevant skills in place of a four-year degree.
