Logistics Analyst

Location: Carnegie, PA, USA; 3rd shift, 8:00 PM–4:30 AM

What you will do

• Coordinate drivers, trucks, containers, and daily routing activities to maximize capacity, productivity, and service efficiency.
• Analyze route data, sequencing, swing-route opportunities, disposal plans, inventory, and asset reliability to improve route design and accuracy.
• Monitor routes throughout the day, adjust same-day and next-day plans, and resolve issues affecting pickups, deliveries, and driver progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hours-of-service, weight, route-close, and disposal-site requirements.
• Communicate with drivers, customer service teams, operations managers, and customers to address delays, missed pickups, service exceptions, and extra-service requests.
• Evaluate driver performance issues, provide direction and education, and develop strategies to prevent recurring service failures.

Requirements

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions from logistics and routing data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in a customer-facing position.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and time-sensitive tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Two years of experience in a dispatcher or similar leadership role preferred.
• Availability for the 3rd shift: 8:00 PM–4:30 AM.
