Fleet Coordinator (UAS/Aviation)

Salary: $93,800–$138,000 USD base salary per year

What you will do

• Maintain aircraft configuration, registration, airworthiness, maintenance, battery, hardware, software, and firmware records.
• Track aircraft locations, availability, flight hours, MTBF, incident rates, and parts requests across the fleet.
• Dispatch aircraft for missions and verify maintenance status before release.
• Maintain OpSpecs, the general maintenance manual, and FAA-required maintenance, training, and flight records.
• Serve as the point of contact for FAA audits and configuration, dispatch, and compliance questions.
• Coordinate configuration changes, test installations, maintenance activities, and rollout tracking across engineering, operations, and maintenance teams.

Requirements

• Experience in fleet coordination, dispatch, maintenance control, or Part 135 operations support in aviation or a UAS environment.
• Working knowledge of Part 135 requirements, including OpSpecs, airworthiness release, and FAA recordkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail when maintaining configuration and compliance records across a changing fleet.
• Ability to support FAA audits and communicate proactively across engineering, operations, and compliance teams.
• Experience with fleet-tracking, maintenance-tracking, or configuration-management software, including hands-on experience with Veryon.

Nice to have

• Experience with UAS systems and configurations.
• Airframe and Powerplant License.
• Experience supporting a drone/UAS test program alongside a Part 135 certificate holder.
• Experience with electronic maintenance records for Part 107 and Part 135 operations.
