Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; On-site

Salary: $155,000–$215,000 per year, plus meaningful equity

hirify.global is a consumer safety app delivering live incident video, alerts, and safety information to users across major American cities, and is rebuilding as an AI-native company.

What you will do

• Own the consumer mobile experience across iOS and Android, including onboarding, maps, incident experiences, live video, alerts, and Premium.
• Design category-defining live, AI-generated, and ambient safety experiences for mobile devices.
• Own and evolve the design system across product, brand, and the live broadcast studio, including type, color, motion, sound, and iconography.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes using Figma, Origami, SwiftUI, code, or other suitable tools, and validate them through usability sessions, funnel data, and live experiments.
• Build and operate agent-powered workflows for asset generation, prototyping, and other production tasks.
• Partner daily with the Founder and CEO, iOS and Android engineering, Marketing, Real-Time Operations, and AI agents.

Requirements

• Approximately 10 years of experience designing and shipping consumer mobile products used by millions of people.
• Strong product design craft, judgment, taste, and the ability to select and explain the strongest solutions from many options.
• Experience creating new interactions, products, or categories that did not previously exist.
• Hands-on experience building with AI agents and replacing parts of a personal design workflow with agent-powered tools.
• Fluency in video and motion design, high-fidelity prototyping, and enough coding ability to put ideas onto a real device without waiting for engineering.
• Ability to make confident decisions, receive and provide direct feedback, and design safety experiences with care for real-world users.

Nice to have

• Experience designing live video, safety, or other real-time consumer products.
• Experience working with SwiftUI or Origami.
