Business Development Associate (Ecommerce)

Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Houston, Texas, United States

Salary: $60,000–$69,000 base salary per year, plus potential discretionary bonus, incentives, and benefits.

hirify.global is a US-based ethnic e-grocery and local marketplace connecting customers with ethnic food, restaurants, bakeries, suppliers, and food providers.

What you will do

• Research and build relationships with local restaurants, bakeries, and other food providers.
• Source, negotiate with, close, and onboard new vendor partners.
• Own regional GMV growth and develop strategies to expand the vendor base and revenue.
• Collaborate with the BD manager and vendors on promotions and operational improvements.
• Guide vendors in maintaining accurate product listings on the platform.
• Gather vendor feedback and coordinate with marketing, technology, product, customer service, and local operations teams.

Requirements

• Customer-focused and sales-driven mindset.
• Ability to adapt quickly and think on your feet.
• Ability to motivate potential partners to use the local marketplace platform.
• Sales experience in a fast-paced or startup environment is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English is preferred for communication with vendor communities.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Houston, Texas.
