Senior SailPoint Integration Specialist

What you will do

• Design, configure, customize, and maintain SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions, including workflows, rules, lifecycle events, provisioning, certifications, policies, and connectors.
• Build and support integrations with HR systems, Active Directory/Entra ID, ServiceNow, SAP, security platforms, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Lead SailPoint upgrades, patches, migrations, impact assessments, remediation, testing, cutover, rollback planning, and post-upgrade validation.
• Resolve complex production issues through L3 support, root-cause analysis, monitoring improvements, automated testing, and performance optimization.
• Guide distributed developers through design and code reviews, reusable standards, technical risk management, estimation, and mentoring.
• Translate business and security requirements into governed IAM solutions while collaborating with architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, HR, ITSM, and application teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ development and IAM or identity governance experience, including complex enterprise implementations and L3 support.
• Deep knowledge of IdentityIQ architecture, object model, Java APIs, BeanShell, workflows, rules, tasks, identity lifecycle management, provisioning, aggregation, roles, access requests, and certifications.
• Strong Java/J2EE, XML, JSON, JavaScript, SQL, regular expressions, API, debugging, performance optimization, and secure-coding skills.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, SCIM, JDBC, LDAP, Active Directory/Entra ID, HR platforms, ServiceNow, SAP, and file-based integrations.
• Working knowledge of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud/IdentityNow, cloud connectors and APIs, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, Linux/Unix, application servers, JVM troubleshooting, monitoring, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• English proficiency is required; the role is based in Durham, North Carolina and follows a hybrid work model.
