Data Protection Analyst

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert on data protection, DLP trends, insider threats, and data security incidents.
• Analyze Data Detection and Response events, incidents, and endpoint forensic data to identify data loss risks.
• Develop incident response workflows with customers and refine policies and datasets as their risk strategies evolve.
• Identify trends, reduce noise and false positives, and define requirements for improved detection and response policies.
• Prepare and present incident investigation summaries for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with Product and Development to improve monitoring and data loss prevention strategies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with data protection products and endpoint protection or incident mitigation workflows.
• 2+ years of experience with Insider Threat Programs and Information Security.
• 4+ years advising on data protection security issues and procedures exploitable by accidental or malicious insiders.
• Expertise with DLP, Insider Threat, and CASB solutions, plus knowledge of sensitive data security controls.
• Experience with technical analysis, incident response documentation, project management, and management-level presentations.
• Understanding of macOS, Linux, Windows, cloud applications, and services; familiarity with SIEM and SOAR is desirable.
