Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (React)

Location: Hybrid role based in Madison, Wisconsin, United States; occasional in-person meetings may be required.

Salary: $85.20–$127.82 USD per hour

What you will do

• Develop, test, document, and deploy business-critical features for the PlayStation ecosystem.
• Build JavaScript-based applications for consoles, websites, mobile applications, and future Sony devices and services.
• Develop digital commerce solutions for games, media content, and subscription services.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and engineers to define requirements and technical solutions.
• Write unit and component tests, review pull requests and design plans, and improve code quality.
• Optimize performance, accessibility, scalability, CI/CD delivery, releases, and production telemetry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of relevant work experience instead of a degree.
• 5+ years of experience building product experiences with UI technologies.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to produce detailed design and development documentation.
• Commitment to robust, sustainable, high-quality code.

Nice to have

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Jest, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, REST APIs, and Docker.
• Understanding of build pipelines and CI/CD standards across multiple platforms.
• Experience with performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Curiosity about AI-assisted development tools or developer-efficiency automation.
