Senior Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: US Remote; compensation range applies to US-based candidates

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 annually, plus potential equity

What you will do

• Design and build scalable full-stack solutions for patient-facing experiences.
• Develop reliable backend services, partner integrations, and event-driven workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design, operations, data, and engineering teams to launch features and improve patient journeys.
• Lead technical discovery, architecture decisions, project breakdown, and execution.
• Improve system scalability, reliability, performance, accessibility, and development quality.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and promote knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building production web products with strong full-stack skills.
• Proficiency with React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, GraphQL, Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Amazon SQS.
• Experience delivering scalable web applications and operating third-party integrations and asynchronous workflows involving queues, webhooks, retries, and idempotency.
• Experience with experimentation, feature flags, web performance, accessibility, analytics instrumentation, and basic SQL.
• Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, automated unit and integration testing.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or another regulated domain, including HIPAA or PHI handling.
• Experience with third-party partner integrations and industry data standards.
