Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California or San Francisco, California; hybrid schedule with in-person collaboration 3 days per week

Salary: $155,500–$210,500 annual base pay, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Design developer-facing experiences across Builder Hub and hirify.global’s broader AI-native development platform, from problem framing through production implementation.
• Design hirify.globalive, transparent, and trustworthy experiences for AI-powered features.
• Research technical workflows, mental models, and pain points to reduce friction and improve developer velocity.
• Plan research, develop hypotheses, prototype rapidly, and validate ideas through customer feedback.
• Shape design vision, communicate rationale, and collaborate with product managers, engineers, content strategists, researchers, and analysts.
• Evolve platform design systems, create reusable patterns, provide design feedback, and promote AI-powered design workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in product design, human-computer interaction design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or a related field.
• Expertise in user-centered design, research planning, journey mapping, interaction design, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Experience translating technically complex constraints into seamless user experiences and communicating design decisions effectively.
• Figma required; working knowledge of Builder, Claude, or Cursor and agile development practices.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup with in-person collaboration 3 days per week in Mountain View or San Francisco.
