Staff Product Designer (AI)

Salary: $139,500–$176,250 USD base salary for exceptional talent based in Colorado.

What you will do

• Lead design for foundational platform layers and initiatives used across hirify.global's product.
• Partner with design, product, and engineering leadership to define platform direction.
• Define scalable patterns, primitives, components, and interaction models for feature teams.
• Ship production code and build realistic coded prototypes using real data.
• Design AI-first capabilities with trust, transparency, and user control as core principles.
• Build AI tooling, evolve the Dialtone design system, identify cross-cutting opportunities, and mentor designers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of high-quality product design experience, including platform-level or foundational work.
• Experience treating AI as a design medium and influencing how teams use AI in daily work.
• Experience building AI tooling such as skills, agents, micro-apps, or CLI workflows.
• Production coding experience and use of coded prototypes as a primary design and validation tool.
• Experience designing systems or patterns adopted by designers and engineers at scale.
• Strong systems thinking, communication, autonomy, collaboration, mentoring, and pixel-level craft.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping AI-native products, agentic workflows, or conversational interfaces.
• Experience with internal tooling, prototyping infrastructure, or developer-facing design systems.
• Experience in SaaS, communications, contact centers, or real-time collaboration platforms.
• Personal practice through side projects, open source, writing, experiments, speaking, or mentoring.
