Sr. Production Planning Specialist (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop, finalize, and communicate material requirements plans that meet customer demand and production schedules.
• Plan and control material availability, storage capacity, reorder points, and reorder quantities.
• Create process orders in the ERP system and maintain supply-chain master data and bills of materials.
• Coordinate with quality assurance, manufacturing, facilities, supply chain, brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely material delivery and approval.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance, production risks, inventory metrics, and SCM KPIs.
• Manage supply-chain change-control activities and support continuous quality and safety improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, demand planning, or MRP in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems; SAP or Oracle experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of material requirements planning, data analysis, problem solving, and computer systems.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Experience working in a dynamic, high-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; Excel skills will be assessed during the interview process.
