Operations Master Scheduler (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at 111 Fieldcrest Ave, Edison, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule using demand, orders, forecasts, inventory needs, and business priorities.
• Manage 8–12+ week production outlooks across long-, mid-, and near-term planning horizons.
• Assess manufacturing capacity, labor, warehouse space, quality requirements, equipment availability, and material readiness.
• Identify bottlenecks, scheduling conflicts, resource gaps, shortages, and operational risks before they affect execution.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, Production, Quality, and Operations teams.
• Report scheduling KPIs and support improvements in capacity utilization, lead times, inventory management, and manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or a related field.
• Experience developing or managing master production schedules in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing capacity planning and production workflows.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Ability to analyze large operational datasets and convert them into actionable production plans.
• Strong organization, prioritization, communication, and cross-functional problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, OTC, personal-care, food, chemical, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
