What you will do

• Create and maintain production schedules aligned with production goals, materials, labor, and available resources.
• Support Lean Manufacturing practices and implement demand scheduling tools.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate production schedules, material requirements, and resource allocation records.
• Analyze production data and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Improve production efficiency, optimize processes, and reduce costs through cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 5+ years of related experience in production planning and scheduling within manufacturing, preferably aerospace or automotive.
• Advanced skills in ERP, MRP, Excel, and SQL.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, capacity planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and solution implementation.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
• Experience with Python, R, MS Project, Power BI, or Tableau.
