Plant Operator (Industrial Gases)

Location: Durham, North Carolina, United States; onsite at an industrial gas filling facility. Monday–Friday, 1st shift, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; occasional extra hours may be required.

What you will do

• Operate and care for compressors, pumps, filling stations, forklifts, and other production equipment.
• Fill and transport gas cylinders while performing quality checks and following safety procedures.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and support maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records for equipment maintenance, cylinder tracking, and production operations.
• Participate in team meetings and workplace safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Flexibility to work shifts and occasional additional hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• Technical certification in industrial operations.
• Industrial gas experience.
