Associate Manufacturing Supervisor (Weekend Shift)

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; weekend shift; onsite manufacturing role.

What you will do

• Lead a manufacturing work group and provide clear direction to meet production objectives.
• Coordinate communication and product flow across upstream and downstream work areas.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, coach employees, and support performance reviews and goal setting.
• Assess training needs and provide or oversee employee training.
• Maintain work instructions and reports while applying basic root-cause and continuous-improvement tools to address quality issues.
• Promote safety standards and help implement safety initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product flow in upstream and downstream areas.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, delegate work, remove obstacles, and communicate professionally with a diverse audience.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills, with the ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and department business systems, including Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, and SQS.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug test results required.

Nice to have

• College degree in any field, such as a BS or BA.
• Supervisory experience or training.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and department business systems.
