Machine Operator III (Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX, US (on-site). Monday–Thursday, 4:30 AM–3:00 PM. Overtime, including weekends, may be required. Applicants must be legally authorized to reside and work in the United States; international relocation and remote work outside the hiring country are not considered.

What you will do

• Perform advanced setup, operation, adjustment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex manufacturing equipment.
• Verify bills of materials, materials, programs, artwork, and specifications with close attention to detail.
• Diagnose and resolve non-routine process, equipment, and quality issues.
• Identify recurring defects, process trends, and production inefficiencies, then initiate corrective actions.
• Participate in root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, and the implementation and validation of new equipment, processes, and product changes.
• Serve as a technical resource while training, mentoring, and coaching Level 1 and Level 2 operators.

Requirements

• At least three years of manufacturing experience, including demonstrated Machine Operator Level 2 performance.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing equipment, quality systems, and production processes.
• Experience operating and setting up various machinery and troubleshooting beyond standard work instructions.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SF-85P federal clearance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and work required overtime.

Nice to have

• Experience in cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience training employees, supporting team leadership, process improvements, or new equipment launches.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
