CRE Loan Closer - JD Required (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: New York, NY

Annual base salary: $160,000–$175,000

What you will do

• Facilitate the closing and funding of commercial real estate loans, with a focus on repo and warehouse transactions.
• Act as a liaison between borrowers, CRE originators, internal legal counsel, asset management, middle office, and external counsel.
• Coordinate new originations and fundings, including pledges and approved investment memos.
• Negotiate facility documents and review loan amendments against underwriting and credit expectations.
• Coordinate execution and receipt of final loan and recorded documents after closing.
• Ensure that all closing compliance requirements are met.

Requirements

• New York, NY location.
• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university and a Juris Doctor degree.
• 2–5 years of commercial loan closing experience across multiple asset types and capital structures.
• Experience with loan document review, loan analytics, funding mechanics, and managing the loan closing process.
• Strong analytical, underwriting, critical thinking, communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently, meet deadlines, and work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
