What you will do

• Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization for real estate title insurance commitments and policies.
• Underwrite title insurance issuance using company standards, guidelines, and delegated authority limits.
• Advise internal personnel on real estate settlement services.
• Develop and issue underwriting standards and guidelines in line with established processes.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of title underwriting experience; commercial experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with real estate law, including federal and state regulations.
• Strong understanding of real estate title and settlement processes.
• Strong analytical, business, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate, make decisive judgments, build relationships, manage multiple priorities, and provide tactful alternative solutions.
