Strategy & Operations Manager (Insurance)

Location: Remote in Toronto, Canada, with the option to work from the Toronto office.

Salary: CAD 154,000–176,000 total target cash compensation annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Solve ambiguous, high-stakes problems across product, growth, operations, and external partnerships.
• Run small-scale pilots to validate customer segments, messaging, and new go-to-market motions before roadmap investment.
• Own weekly leadership briefs covering product-line performance, decisions, and recommendations.
• Lead monthly business-line deep dives covering funnel performance, experiments, customer evidence, and competitor insights.
• Run quarterly planning by translating founder priorities into resourced options and explicit trade-offs.
• Rotate into ownership of a product line or function after a 12-to-18-month strategy and operations tour.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or strategy and business operations at a high-growth company.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with SQL experience or the willingness to learn it quickly.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, conduct analysis independently, and communicate recommendations concisely.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Daily practical use of AI for research, analysis, and productivity.
• Comfort working at an intense pace across multiple concurrent workstreams; insurance experience is not required.
