Chargebacks Analyst

Location: Mundelein, Illinois, United States; hybrid work model

Salary: $67,000–$101,000 annually; bonus and/or incentive eligible

What you will do

• Process chargeback submissions and research, reconcile, and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Monitor chargeback, tracing, and vendor-related files to prevent financial loss.
• Prepare reports, analyze trends and exceptions, and communicate findings to business stakeholders.
• Manage chargeback inquiries, vendor communications, fee agreements, and issue escalations.
• Coordinate training, maintain standard operating procedures, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners and participate in cross-functional meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is typically required.
• At least 2 years of experience analyzing and reporting operational data, including at least 1 year of chargeback analysis and processing.
• Experience identifying issues, trends, and exceptions and developing solutions.
• Professional written and verbal communication with internal teams, partners, and vendors.
• Experience with SAP and/or Vistex and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, deadline management, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• GTN experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
• Experience interpreting supplier agreements and working with SOX controls.
• Experience with Life Sciences Revenue Management Systems.
• Ability to query and manipulate complex datasets using SQL and validate data accuracy.
