Senior Financial Analyst (Electrophysiology Scientific Affairs)

Location: Irvine, California, United States; up to 10% travel may be required.

Base pay: $79,000–$127,650 per year.

What you will do

• Track financial performance and provide financial guidance to Scientific Affairs business partners.
• Support financial forecasting, closing, reporting, and analysis of complex financial data.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation while identifying opportunities to optimize expenditures and investments.
• Prepare and present financial results and key performance messages to leadership.
• Support financial compliance reviews, including balance sheet and external compliance assessments.
• Lead process standardization, reporting automation, and financial transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related business field.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, with effective communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, manage multiple tasks, recommend process improvements, and take on leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to build relationships and partner with stakeholders across functions and organizational levels.
• Must work in Irvine, California; up to 10% travel may be required.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or an advanced degree.
• Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, SAP, Anaplan, or similar data and visualization tools.
