Analyst Charge Revenue Integrity (Charge Capture) (Remote)

Location: Remote position associated with Waterbury, Bloomfield, and Hartford, Connecticut, and Albany and Schenectady, New York, United States.

Salary: $21.5178–$32.2766 per hour.

What you will do

• Research, collect, analyze, and report operational data to support leadership decision-making and process improvement.
• Audit charge capture and reconciliation processes for assigned departments, identifying missing, duplicate, late, or inaccurate charges.
• Review CPT and ICD-10 documentation, charge entries, modifiers, approvals, and clinical documentation for billing accuracy.
• Coordinate with clinical departments, providers, and stakeholders on charge deficiencies, system changes, and process updates.
• Support denial-related charge reviews through documentation analysis, root-cause analysis, and education.
• Maintain reference logs and reporting tools and prepare graphical summaries, recommendations, and educational materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two years of relevant experience in a hospital or physician practice environment.
• Experience in revenue cycle, billing, coding, patient financial services, or charge control and capture.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, data entry, supply chain processes, healthcare operations, and billing and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to use multiple system applications, analyze data, create reports, and support clinical departments with charging-practice changes.
• Work location is associated with sites in Connecticut and New York, United States.

Nice to have

• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC/COC, AAPC, CHC, or CHRI certification or membership.
• Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
• Previous charge control or charge capture experience.
