Media Group operates the KNWA/FOX24 newsroom and its digital media platforms.
What you will do
- Lead digital publishing across the website, mobile app, social media, and OTT platforms.
- Run daily digital editorial meetings and coordinate breaking-news coverage with newsroom leadership.
- Supervise digital producers, social and vertical video producers, and OTT content creators.
- Develop strategies to grow pageviews, video views, app usage, and connected-TV consumption.
- Oversee homepage curation, vertical video output, OTT playlists, SEO, headlines, and metadata.
- Monitor real-time analytics, prepare performance reports, and identify content improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, digital media, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a newsroom or digital content environment.
- Expertise in digital publishing, SEO, social media strategy, and analytics tools.
- Strong editorial judgment, communication, leadership, coaching, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to maintain accuracy, fairness, brand voice, legal compliance, and ethical standards.
- Role based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with familiarity with the Northwest Arkansas news landscape preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience creating vertical video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Experience with OTT platforms and digital content playlist management.
- Familiarity with the Northwest Arkansas news landscape.
