Middle Market Market Manager (Banking)

Location: Fully onsite in Encino, California

Salary: $166,000–$270,000 per year, with potential performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead middle market banking activity and production in an assigned market.
• Manage a portfolio of approximately $500–800MM serving clients with more than $15MM in annual revenue.
• Lead Relationship Managers in achieving strategic objectives, production goals, and client service targets.
• Develop and execute market strategies, cross-selling initiatives, and business development partnerships.
• Manage P&L, portfolio quality, credit risk, delegated credit approvals, and regulatory compliance.
• Hire, coach, motivate, and retain team members while representing the bank at community events and industry organizations.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in middle market, commercial, or corporate lending.
• Experience developing and implementing market strategies and achieving business goals.
• Strong relationship management, business development, sales, analytical, problem-solving, and credit skills.
• Experience leading teams with responsibility for strategic planning, goal setting, budgets, and performance management.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with executives, including CFOs and CEOs.
• Strong Microsoft Office, organization, communication, and listening skills; frequent travel is required.

Nice to have

• 4–7 years of experience managing a production team and handling employee and customer relations issues.
