Director, Alternative Investor Services (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY — Hybrid

Salary: $115,000–$210,000 USD annually, plus potential discretionary bonus and/or equity awards.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Investor Services team.
• Oversee daily investor services operations, service-level agreements, accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage investor relationships, onboarding, KYC/AML due diligence, subscription documents, and system setup.
• Supervise investor statements, capital calls, distributions, and ad hoc reporting.
• Resolve investor inquiries with fund accounting, legal, and compliance teams.
• Develop operating procedures, monitor performance metrics, support client pitches, and implement automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in investor services, client services, or fund operations within alternative investments.
• 5+ years of leadership or management experience building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of alternative fund structures, operations, AML/KYC, FATCA, CRS, and investor reporting.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
• Experience with fund administration software such as Geneva, Advent, or Yardi, and Microsoft Office.
