Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day service, retention, and growth for a large and complex multi-line commercial insurance book.
• Serve as the primary client contact, provide coverage guidance, and identify coverage gaps and risk management opportunities.
• Manage renewals from marketing and quoting through proposal preparation, negotiation, and binding.
• Coordinate policy changes, endorsements, certificates, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Partner with producers, carriers, underwriters, and internal teams on account growth, cross-selling, and client presentations.
• Maintain accurate records, meet compliance requirements, and support training of less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience.
• Experience managing large and complex multi-line commercial accounts.
• Strong knowledge of Property, General Liability, Auto, Umbrella, Workers' Compensation, Cyber, Professional Liability, Inland Marine, and Management Liability insurance.
• Proven success in client retention and cross-selling, with strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with agency management systems, carrier portals, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license held for at least 5 years is required.

• CIC, CISR, CRM, or a similar professional designation.
