Select Commercial Lines Account Representative (Insurance)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States

Salary: $46,000–$70,000 annually; target incentive of 5%.

What you will do

• Support Account Managers with client tasks, retention goals, renewals, and growth for Select Commercial Lines clients.
• Review and process policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, certificates, and insurance holder updates.
• Request carrier information, assist with online rating and endorsement processes, and manage carrier service center escalations.
• Maintain accurate records in agency management systems and manage regional mailbox communications.
• Prepare insurance summaries, finance agreements, renewal documents, invoices, and complex invoicing assignments.
• Participate in training and develop the knowledge required for a future Account Manager role.

Requirements

• Entry-level profile; an associate degree is preferred.
• Must be willing to earn a Property & Casualty insurance license within the agreed timeframe.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, prioritize work, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
• Resourcefulness, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback, coaching, and professional development.
