Project Manager 4 (EHR/Health IT)

Location: Must currently reside in Pennsylvania and be able to work from the Harrisburg office two days per week; occasional off-site meetings at state health centers may be required.

Salary: $65–$70 per hour

hirify.global is hiring for an enterprise information technology project supporting public health operations.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation of a new Electronic Health Record system and transition it into program operations and maintenance.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and govern all project activities, including the project plan and schedule.
• Manage business process enhancements, reengineering, and development for a high-priority enterprise IT project.
• Coordinate project team members across IT areas, technical teams, vendors, and program stakeholders.
• Drive delivery from initiation through completion while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and business requirements.
• Analyze and resolve issues while building agreement on recommended solutions.

Requirements

• Active PMI PMP certification held for at least five years; a copy of the certification must be submitted with the resume.
• Current residence in Pennsylvania is required; out-of-state candidates will not be considered.
• Seven to nine years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience implementing an EHR system for a customer transitioning from paper-based charting.
• Experience with EHR or EMR systems, health informatics, health IT, and public health programs.
• Familiarity with PMI project phases, project governance, and collaboration across program and IT teams.

Nice to have

• Organizational change management experience with independent customers.
