Senior AI Software Engineer

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must already have authorization to work in the United States. Occasional travel to company offsites or key meetings may be required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $150,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Own software design and architecture, making technical decisions that support scale.
• Write and ship production code for new features, platform deliverables, and bug fixes.
• Identify and resolve technical and cross-team roadblocks.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive initiatives from idea through completion with minimal oversight.
• Champion AI-forward development workflows across the engineering organization.
• Contribute to the evolution of the technical architecture and platform foundation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered workflows and software.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, database design and scaling, and software performance optimization.
• Strong proficiency in an object-oriented programming language and solid computer science and algorithmic reasoning fundamentals.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry such as healthcare or finance, including event-driven architecture or CQRS.
• Ability to diagnose ambiguous problems, work independently, and execute solutions end to end.

• Experience with data science or data engineering.
• A metrics-driven approach to evaluating individual and team output.
