Executive Protection and Event Security Specialist (Baltimore, MD)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; travel within the Bank's footprint, including potential international travel, is required.

Salary: $68,400–$114,000 annual USD

Financial institution providing banking services with a corporate security function supporting executive protection and event security.

What you will do

• Conduct advance site and security risk assessments for executive offices, corporate events, venues, and travel.
• Plan and execute executive protection strategies for leadership meetings, VIP gatherings, board meetings, investor conferences, and public appearances.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, first responders, third parties, and internal security teams to protect executives and guests.
• Manage event security operations including checkpoints, access control, emergency response, incident reporting, and after-action briefings.
• Develop personalized protection plans covering venues, transportation, travel security, and residential protection.
• Train security personnel and support the development of policies, procedures, and incident response protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant work or military experience, or an equivalent combination including at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience providing security services for corporate events and working with C-suite executives.
• Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, or willingness to obtain certification within the first 3 months.
• Valid U.S. Passport required.
• Strong decision-making and crisis management skills, demonstrated firearms proficiency, and willingness to carry a firearm where applicable.
• Ability to obtain a CCW permit and Armed Guard Registration Card as required by applicable state law.

Nice to have

• At least 5 years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or military police with a protection focus.
• Executive protection training or certification and membership in relevant industry associations.
• EMT or other emergency medical certifications.
