Executive Protection Agent (Aerospace)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; extensive domestic and international travel and irregular hours are required.

Base pay: $130,800–$163,500 per year.

What you will do

• Provide close protection for executives and principals at residences, offices, during travel, and at events and public appearances.
• Drive principals securely, including route planning and defensive or evasive driving.
• Conduct advance work such as site surveys, route planning, venue assessments, and coordination with local resources.
• Assess threats and surroundings in real time while maintaining a discreet, low-profile protective posture.
• Coordinate schedules and travel with executive assistants, GSOC, and protective intelligence teams.
• Support emergency and crisis response and maintain trusted relationships with principals, families, and support staff.

Requirements

• Hands-on executive protection or related operational experience in special operations, the military, or law enforcement.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to provide protective or secure driving, including defensive and evasive driving.
• Ability to obtain a nationwide concealed carry permit or hold existing LEOSA carry authority.
• Ability to adapt to frequent last-minute changes, irregular hours, and extensive travel.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, judgment, discretion, ethics, and integrity.

Nice to have

• Active U.S. government security clearance.
• Federal protective service, military, or law enforcement background.
• Formal executive protection training and relevant certifications.
• Emergency medical or first-responder training, including first aid, CPR, TECC, or TCCC.
• Experience protecting principals in aerospace, defense, technology, or other high-profile multi-site environments.
