Sr. Subject Matter Expert - Implementations

What you will do

• Lead the implementation of Clearwater methodologies and client onboarding processes.
• Apply domain expertise in investment accounting, asset classes, and regulatory regimes such as Solvency II, US insurance, Local GAAP, and Canadian insurance.
• Guide peers and advise clients on Clearwater’s accounting, compliance, risk, and performance reporting capabilities.
• Identify improvement opportunities and develop repeatable, scalable implementation solutions.
• Create training materials and Standard Operating Procedures, and contribute to thought leadership and whitepapers.
• Collaborate with product management, development teams, analysts, team leads, and program managers to improve onboarding and reduce delivery timeframes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s or master’s coursework in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of investment accounting policies and procedures, equities, fixed income, and structured products.
• Experience with securities or financial markets, especially derivatives, alternatives, structured products, or fixed income.
• Advanced experience with project management tools such as Clarizen, Salesforce, and JIRA, as well as general ledger systems including Workday or PeopleSoft.
• Strong Excel, Microsoft Office, documentation, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
